Their Eyes Were Watching Mars Framed Giclée Print
Giclée Print on Archival, Museum Grade Paper
A wise woman once wrote, “there are years that ask questions and years that answer.” Some years are both. They seemed to be staring at Earth, but their eyes were watching Mars.
“Their Eyes Were Watching Mars” is a mixed multimedia collage that combines hand-drawn illustration, photography, and sculpture inspired by the artist, T. Nikki Paige's colorful exploration of the world's vibrantly diverse creation myths and the origins of sacred androgyny within indigenous traditions of the Pan-African diaspora.
